ID This Guy

I found this photo in a used book bought in Montgomery, Alabama about 15 years ago. I named the dude Virgil Lipscomb.

Somebody has to know who this is. Send this pic to any and everyone you know.

Please someone ID this fellow. I have no idea why this matters, but hordes of people have pushed me to do this for quite a while.
